    The 2014 ISUG-TECH conference will be held April 14-17 at the Hilton, Atlanta in Atlanta, GA.  We expect more than 500 technical users and customers of SAP products to join us, attending lecture sessions, workshops, round-tables, etc. learning all they can about the latest SAP technologies, and hearing from the experts in their field.

    We're exceptionally happy to announce that SAP will be launching SAP ASE 16 at our conference, and will be providing several hours of technical sessions directly related to this new release!

    Conference activities will begin on Monday the 14th with optional workshops.  Detailed information about these workshops will be available to you as part of the registration process.  The main conference will open on Tuesday morning at 8am with a keynote followed by plenary sessions, after which there will be two and a half days of technical breakouts - lectures, round-tables, workshops, etc., presented by some of the foremost experts in the industry.  The conference will end around 4pm on Thursday the 17th.  There will be additional optional workshops on Friday the 18th for those looking to add even more learning to their conference experience.

    There will be more than 150 hours of in-conference technical sessions Tuesday-Thursday from dozens of SAP experts.  These sessions will cover a variety of SAP database, mobile and application products including SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise (SAP ASE), SAP Replication Server, SAP PowerBuilder, SAP Mobile Platform, SAP PowerDesigner, SAP IQ and SAP HANA.  Details of these sessions are online, and the agenda builder will be available on or about March 1st, 2014.

    Registration for this event is now open!  ISUG-TECH Gold members save $300 off the price of a conference pass, while Core Members and ASUG members can also save $100.

    The following pre-conference workshops will be held on Monday the 14th:

    The cost to attend a pre- or post-conference workshops is $300 for a half-day and $500 for a full day for conference attendees. All workshops include lunch and refreshments.

    Non-conference attendees may attend those full-day workshops marked with a * for $700.

    This year's conference will be held at the Hilton in Downtown Atlanta, GA. We have negotiated a special rate with the hotel of just $119/night + tax. This rate is good for the Monday-Wednesday nights of the conference, plus 3 days before or after the conference if you want to stay some additional time in the Atlanta area, subject to availability*.  This is an excellent rate for downtown Atlanta and we encourage attendees to stay in the conference hotel.  The room block will expire at the end of March.

    You will need to register for the conference before booking your hotel.  After registering, the system will provide you with the link to follow to be a part of the hotel block for the conference.  Please be sure to use that link to book!

    Atlanta is served by the Atlanta-Hartsfield Airport.  There is a train/subway link (MARTA) directly from the hotel to Downtown Atlanta that takes approximately 20 minutes.  The closest station to the hotel is the Peachtree Station.  Take the train north from the airport and exit at Peachtree Center Station. Take the Harris Street escalator or follow the directions for Peachtree Center Mall. You will go up a very steep escalator into the Mall. Take the walkway from the Mall to the parking garage. Take the elevator to the street. The hotel is on your right when you exit the garage.  At the time of writing, a one-way ticket is $2.50. 

    A cab will cost approiximately $30 and will take around 15 minutes - but can take considerably longer in heavy traffic.  If you a driving your own car or a rental car, hotel parking is currently $22/day for self parking, or $30 for valet parking.

    For golf fans, the Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta is the week prior to the conference, so you may consider spending the weekend before the conference relaxing and enjoying the golf before joining us for the main event!

    *Monday-Wednesday nights guaranteed at rate of $119+tax until reserved room block sells out.  Nights before and after are subject to hotel capacity and may not be available at the stated rate.  If you are planning on arriving early or departing late you should register and book now.
