Events

ISUG puts on various events around the world both physically and virtually. While some of these events are open to the general public, the majority are reserved for participation by members only.

Here are some examples of the events that ISUG holds:

  • User Group Meetings — Hosted by our user groups around the globe, these events are for members of the user group to network, share knowledge and learn from guest presenters.
  • Seminars — Often held in conjunction with a user group, these events are pay-to-attend and are designed to impart extended knowledge to the attendees, beyond that available at regular user group meetings. Seminars usually include “hands-on” sessions and/or labs. Costs are kept to a minimum and are to offset room rental, cost of meals & refreshments, speaker travel, etc.
  • Roadshows — Generally, our roadshows are a collection of seminars strung together to keep costs to a minimum by reducing travel costs.
  • Summits — This newer concept involves 2 or more days where a limited number of attendees can meet, share knowledge and learn from the experts. Costs are generally higher than seminars, but include all associated costs, except for travel required to attend. (Accommodations, meals, etc., are all included.)
