Journeyman’s Diary: Overloading PowerBuilder Global Functions

    This article defines function overloading in general terms, presents PowerBuilder Classic object level function overload source code internals and illustrates what happens when you try to define an unsupported overload. The article goes on to show what happens when you try to overload a global function, exposes global function source code internals and shows you a neat work-around you can use to implement global function overloading using the source code editor. It concludes by illustrating what happens when you migrate your overloaded global functions to .NET.
