Session Previews: David Dichmann Director, PowerDesigner Product Management SAP SE

By: Mr. Adrian Bridgwater on Mar 13, 2015

What is your position in your place of work?

I am a product manager for SAP, specializing on modeling and architecture tools, including SAP PowerDesigner.

What is the title of your session and when is it?

I am speaking at 5 sessions: topics ranging from Data Warehouse Modeling to new capabilities in PowerDesigner like Enterprise Architecture in the Web and Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN). I’ll also be working my Matt Creason, Director of Product Management on broader topics including future directions and best practices for modeling and architecture.

What gave you the inspiration and drive to present this topic in this way?

SAP PowerDesigner is growing in strategic importance – companies need a good tool to help solve information and architecture problems as they move to new technologies and new business models. PowerDesigner is an ideal solution and we want to help people use it in the most optimal way.

Why should people come to your session and why does it rock?

Anyone that needs to better understand their environment, and how business and IT can collaborate together should come see my sessions. I want to help people see amazing ways to visualize their enterprise, and efficiently keep all viewpoints and perspectives together, in our revolutionary new web interface.

What is the one thing you hope attendees will take away from your session?

I hope they learn how they can use PowerDesigner in a broader way, use it for more of their modeling and architecture needs, and get more value out of their use of the product.
